Everybody wants to know what hands in hold em the guy across from them is holding. There are some exclusive methods on how to figure out what cards they are holding. You’re going to learn in this article some of the methods on how to do this.
1. In order to understand what hands hold em the other guy may have is to remember carefully their patterns of betting. Why is this? Well, exactly how they check/bet/raise on each street could make it obvious what they have. As an example, if they raise you preflop, bet on the flop then suddenly get scared on the turn when an ace comes, there’s a fairly good chance they have a non AA premium pair like KK. So as you can see, the way the guy across the table from you bets, aka his betting patterns, can really help you define what kind of hand he might be holding.
2. Another way to figure out what hands hold em your opponents could be holding is their play style. Not sure what a play style is in online poker? It’s how the player typically plays their cards. Like, a player who raises all the time would be considered aggressive while a player who rarely bets would be considered passive. If a player is super aggressive and they raise you you know not to give them too much credit usually.
3. A third way to attempt at understanding what hands hold em your enemy could have is by what hands you’ve had together in the past with the same guy. One of the main reasons is because if you have been winning hands against this guy left and right he’ll probably be opening up his card range a lot against you. Understand that if you’ve won dozens of pots against him he’s probably going to be playing much looser against you specifically.
